This playlist examines Electrical and Electronic basics for Automation. We will learn what is current, voltage, ohms of resistance, power and Ohm's Law calculations.

We will study series and parallel circuits, single phase and three phase electrical systems, grounding, motors, transformers and vdf (variable frequency drive).

Instrumentation loops are DC Series circuits. They can have more than one device in series in the power wiring.

Power circuits such as power AC supplies and AC motors are parallel circuits, even if there is only one device connected to the power wire.
